COFDM MESH Handheld Radio BRHR2W

The BRHR2W is a lightweight, rugged COFDM handheld radio built on a self-healing mesh network architecture. With 2×2W output power, 2×2 MIMO structure, ≥20 km communication range, 45 Mbps data rate, AES256 encryption and IP67 protection rating, it supports uninterrupted voice, data and video transmission in complex field conditions.

PRODUCT APPROACH

BRHR2W supports mission continuity through its self-healing mesh architecture.

COFDM modulation technique and multi-hop mesh network structure enable communication to continue in areas without infrastructure or under signal-obstructing conditions. With network capacity of up to 32 nodes, 4-hop support, ≤7 ms single-hop latency, adaptive frequency selection and -40°C / +65°C operating range, the system provides a communication infrastructure suited to field conditions.

MANET Peer-to-Peer

Horizontal Mesh Network Structure

In this horizontal mesh structure each terminal connects to the others at an equal level, enabling direct communication between personnel without requiring central infrastructure. The self-healing network approach allows communication to continue over alternative paths when one of the nodes goes offline.

Centralized Network

Star Topology and Relay Gateway

Up to 32 field terminals can connect to the command center through a relay gateway. This structure supports integrated operation over Ethernet/IP with the video server, PTT dispatch, LAN/Internet access and recording system.

Adaptive Frequency Selection (AFS)

The Adaptive Frequency Selection structure supports automatic selection of a suitable channel in interference-heavy environments. Channel bandwidth options of 2.5 / 5 / 10 / 20 MHz allow adaptation to different operational scenarios.

Multi-Service Support

Voice, data, video, PTT and location services can be carried over the same network. Group broadcast supports broadcasting of serial port and network port data, along with black and white list definitions.

IP Transparent Transmission

IP transparent transmission support between network ports allows existing IP-based systems to operate over the mesh network without the need for additional converters.

Rapid Deployment

Startup under 28 seconds, network entry under 1 second and switching under 0.8 seconds support rapid deployment and uninterrupted operation in the field.
